UGH I’M SO IN LOVE WITH YOU
When I was a high school senior, I gave Zero a ride home most days. One afternoon, he chose Disintegration from my CD collection, and I asked him to tell me the lyrics to this as we listened to it. So now, whenever I hear this song, which is one of the most beautiful songs of all time, I see teenage Zero smiling at me as he says, “Sometimes you make me feel like I’m living at the edge of the world.”
yesterday morning. one of my favorite photos i’ve ever taken.
I was sprawled out on the bed in my flannel pajama pants and a white t-shirt when Zero walked over to hand me a beer. He looked at me and said, “You’re so cute. I love you. I think you could do anything.”

Zero’s playing Uncharted 3 online with Justin and Kyler, and they keep singing this to each other.
Ayanami is at least twice this size now but still as cuddly sweet. I will never get over this video.
zero drew his name and my friend dan tattooed it forward and backward on me united by an upside down cross. my second tattoo.
Zero’s really into watching The X-Files lately, and it’s so cute. Everything he does is cute. Today he brought home vegan cheese for me on his lunch break so I could have grilled cheese sammies since I’m surfing the crimson wave. He’s so caring and funny and beautiful and the coolest.
The first time Zero ever kissed me was when we went to see a ballet together. We were just friends. I was 18, and he was 17. I had a boyfriend I loved dearly. (He’s still one of my closest friends, and I still love him.) But I loved Zero, too. I love a lot of people. But Zero and I belong together. We want to spend every night together and wake up every morning together. We’re best friends, and we always work it out. Ten years and counting.
